The vines and stone steps by the entrance here lead you into an Oriental zen-style ambiance, with plants and bright sunshine creating a beautiful garden landscape and a calming refuge from the city. The outdoor dining area is only open during afternoon tea hours, when customers can sit by the pond to enjoy afternoon tea set delicacies (3-5 p.m., NT$250+10%). These include sweet and savory flavor combinations arranged by the chef at this menu-less establishment, like the recommended Parmesan Cheese, Ham and Vegetable Sandwich, which comes with options of either handmade mulberry juice, latte, or organic honey-flavored tea. Enjoying the breeze and mountain views with such offerings embodies the motto here: "Turn your life around, enjoy the casual meal, you are in the cycle of Zen." --By Chloe Chang, translated by Anna Yang
