Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike should enjoy the light, healthy sandwiches, wraps, salads and other western fare served at this little ovo-lacto vegetarian eatery. As displayed photos and decorations hint, owner Antonio Chen has an interesting background, serving in Honduras and Sao Tome & Principe for two years and four years, respectively, on agricultural-assistance missions (he speaks Spanish and Portuguese). His simple dining menu includes a tasty Cuban Sandwich (NT$120) filled with pickles, cheese, mustard and vegetarian soy beam extraction-based "chicken" that would fool most meat eaters, plus Honduran Wrap (NT$100), stuffed with the same "chicken", romaine lettuce, mustard sauce and a homemade tomato/cucumber salsa. For an extra NT$60, any entree can be enjoyed with a Baby Leaf Salad (NT$50 a la carte) made with organic veggies home-grown by the owner, and coffee or tea. Drinks include organic Black Bean Tea (NT$80) and various coffees made from beans the owner roasts himself and also sells by the bag (NT$300-340 per half-pound). --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Anna Yang
