        For the Yang sisters, running a tiny organic-food store in Chiayi City is both a hobby and a labor of love. They grow organic food at their home in the countryside; they eat organic food three times a day; and they talk up the advantages of organic food to customers every chance they get. Yang Xiu-yue says a lot of people first visit the store because someone in their family has fallen ill. Then, after eating organic food and seeing how good and nutritious it is, they come back for more and become regular customers. Wheat germ, brewer's yeast, bean sprouts, wheat grass, organically-grown apples, bananas and other kinds of fruit fill the store's refrigerators. In addition to vegetables, there are eggs and homemade yogurt. The stores also stocks organic products from the United States, Britain, Germany, France, and other countries.
