MAKING
IT EASY: E-STORE TAIWAN -www.estoretaiwan.com
--By Dawn Reid Translated by Annie Liu
There's a new online option in Taiwan
for those who crave western food and enjoy eating at
home: E-Store Taiwan. This virtual store allows you
to get the food you want delivered to your door, proving
that owners Landis Shook and Vicky Chen truly believe
the E-Store motto "Making it Easy".
The website http://www.estoretaiwan.com
is simple to use. The index page highlights the weekly
specials and what new products have been added. Click
that to see the variety of categories E-Store offers
(there are currently 11). It is E-Store's goal to offer
500 products (warehoused in Taiwan and ready to ship)
by July.
Once you're accessed the appropriate
section and found the products you want, there are several
ways to purchase. First, and probably easiest, is to
use Pay Pal. Simply add items to your shipping cart,
then check out when you're done. It's a single credit
card charge, including shipping. Pay Pal is secure and
protects the consumer at all times. Your next option
is to click 'Order Now' on the top menu, which sends
an e-mail to E-Store, letting them know what items you
wish to order and then paying by bank transfer (account
details can be found on the website). Or have your order
shipped COD (cash on delivery), meaning you pay cash
when it arrives (you can ship up to 5 kg for as low
as NT$80!).
E-Store Taiwan guarantees every shipment
with a full refund if it fails to be delivered or is
delivered in poor condition. Some of the more popular
current products are Taco Bell Dinner kits (NT$250 including
shipping), Hamburger Helper dinner kits (NT$160) and
Kool Aid packets (NT$32). They rely on their customers
as to what products they will add, so use their contact
page.
You can contact E-Store Taiwan at any time at theboss@estoretaiwan.com
or by phone at 0916 848 381. Also keep an eye on the
site. Check every week as they are always adding, growing
and traveling around Taiwan. |
