Tainan's DongNing Road is well known for its large number of small boutiques featuring loads of bargains. Arguably first in line for this area is the newly arrived Green Shop, situated just off DongNing Road in ShengLi Road. The Green Shop can get you into South Asian fashion with clothes, shoes, bags and other accessories for near Bangkok or Mumbai prices. The available clothing all has colourful Thai or Indian prints and patterns. Everything is cheap, with handbags priced at NT$100 and skirts from NT$250. There is also a wide range of affordable handmade necklaces, earrings and a large selection of handmade shoes. If the aroma in the store tickles your fancy just ask owners Jacky or PePe to help you find it among the number of incenses in the shop.
