VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWS Offering
Japanese-style hot pots and barbecues, Naka Bashi sees most of its
custom in the late evening. Portions are generous, and prices are
reasonable: the Oyster Hot Pot goes for NT$180, chicken, pork, beef,
and fish options are NT$180 to NT$360. Barbecues are a little more
expensive. The range of additional extras--various tofus and vegetables--is
very broad. Each meal is followed by a sweet rice dessert. The decor
of this establishment is conventional, but for the toy railway set.
Dozens of different sake bottle labels have been collected and put
on display; this eatery does offer a good selection of beers and
strong liquor to its customers, including some unusual choices such
as Bombay Dry Gin.
