This brand-new business hotel is ideally located in a 13-floor building by the corner of QingHai and HeNan roads, not far from the freeway or Fengchia University. The Galerie's slick, Modern-style decor and facilities are largely geared towards providing comfortable, reasonably-priced rooms for business travelers heading for the Taichung Science Park and elsewhere in the city. There are six Standard Floors and three VIP Floors, featuring similar-sized rooms with higher ceilings and some extra amenities. The attractive rooms are cozy and equipped with international-class beds, flat-screen TVs, ADSL Internet connections, comfortable sofas and other features. These include the Superior Room (NT$2,700, VIP NT$3,100), Deluxe Room (NT$3,300, VIP NT$3,800), Executive Room (NT$4,200, VIP NT$4,800) and Galerie Room (NT$6,200, VIP NT$6,900), which has an extra Japanese-style section and can sleep up to four. Female travelers can also enjoy exclusive use of the Ladies' Floor, with secure pass-card entry and rooms equipped with extra amenities like make-up/dressing mirrors and beauty products. A rates include a Western/Chinese buffet breakfast, basement parking, and access to the first-floor Internet Lab, meeting rooms (4-9 people), and top-floor fitness gym, spa and sauna. Available services (some with extra fee) include guest pick-up, chauffeur and flight arrangements.
